The Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH) was established in 1962 and has become the premier harmonica enthusiasts organization in the world. With an aging membership and many competing leisure activities membership started slipping.
The president, Tom Stryker and the board of directors embarked upon an ambitious plan to revitalize the organization, grow its membership, and set it on a firmer financial footing.
They understood the Internet was an absolutely necessary component to their plan and partnered with MojoTools Interactive to create a fresh web presence and devise strategies for Internet marketing.
A key feature of the newly developed spah.org is the web based advertising program in which SPAH has been generating increased sponsorships and ad revenue from Industry manufacturers and vendors, record companies, and performance artists who now advertise on spah.org.
SPAH's internal banner ad marketing program has garnered new attention for the organization and is now contributing to its bottom line.
